Actor Ranbir Kapoor surprised his Telugu-speaking fans by addressing them in Telugu at a pre-release event for the film Ramayana: Rise of a Legend in Hyderabad on Monday.
His effort to connect with the audience in their language was met with loud cheers. Co-star Sai Pallavi, who plays Sita in the film, watched with a smile.
Kapoor, who will portray Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming film, made a special effort to engage with the local audience.
The event was organized ahead of the film's theatrical release in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC) will distribute the film in these regions.
Ranbir Kapoor promised a grand cinematic experience and thanked his Telugu fans in their own language during the event.
