The long-standing issue of the unused Indoor Stadium in Station Ghanpur has finally been addressed after six years. The administrative machinery has moved to resolve the difficulties faced by athletes and youth.
District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha directed the concerned officials, leading to the completion of pending works related to the stadium. This action has sparked new hope among the sports community.
Currently, only the installation of doors remains at the stadium. The order for these has already been placed, and they will be fitted soon.
The stadium is expected to be handed over to the Youth and Sports officer within a week. This means the sports venue will be accessible to the public shortly.
This development will greatly benefit athletes and youth in Station Ghanpur and surrounding areas. It marks a significant step towards improving sports infrastructure in the region.
