The Telangana Junior Doctors' Association (T-JUDA) has expressed serious concerns regarding the Post Graduate (PG) examination results. The association stated that the lack of transparency in examination evaluation is adversely affecting eligible students.

T-JUDA president Dr Ganganolla Vikram, general secretary Dr Narahari Chandrakanth Reddy, and chairperson Dr Bingi Sai Chandan called for a systematic review of the examination evaluation process. They demanded scrutiny of examiner-wise and subject-wise marking patterns, failure rates, and cases where students’ theory and practical performance differed significantly.

Dr Reddy stated that the association had submitted a representation seeking limited grace marks, recounting, and a transparent revaluation mechanism for eligible PG 2023 batch candidates who narrowly missed the qualifying marks.

The association also sought scrutiny of marks before and after final correction or moderation, along with practical marks awarded by different examiners. He also referred to the Gandhi paediatric examination issue, where an inquiry has been ordered after 15 students who cleared the theory exams failed in the practical examination.

The association emphasized that recurring complaints across examination cycles require systemic correction rather than being treated as isolated cases. These issues significantly impact the future of medical students in Telangana and require immediate resolution.
