The Telangana government has directed officials to provide Aadhaar enrollment and biometric update services at Mandal Educational Officer (MEO) offices and junior colleges during the upcoming Dasara holidays for the convenience of students and the general public.

The school education department and Samagra Shiksha have issued directives to ensure these facilities are available. Strict instructions have been given to prevent any excess charges for these services.

This arrangement will cover the Dasara holidays, which are set to begin on October 12. Dr. E., the state project director for Samagra Shiksha, confirmed this initiative.

Children who do not have Aadhaar numbers can register at these camps. Additionally, students with pending mandatory biometric updates (MBU) can complete them during this period.

This move by the Telangana government offers a significant opportunity for students and the public to complete their Aadhaar-related tasks during the holiday period. It aims to save time and provide easy access to essential services across the state.
