The Telangana Intermediate Education Department is organizing a 15-day state-level hackathon called 'Innovate Telangana' for inter students. These competitions, starting in Hyderabad on October 9, 2026, aim to enhance students' artificial intelligence (AI), digital skills, and problem-solving abilities, as reported by V6 Velugu.

This hackathon is being conducted in collaboration with the Codemithra Future Skills platform. All inter students from both general and vocational streams are eligible to participate in these competitions, stated Abhilasha Abhinav, Director of the Intermediate Education Department, according to V6 Velugu.

Registrations for the event will take place from the 12th to the 17th of this month. Students must first register on the Codemithra portal and complete a special course, V6 Velugu reported.

Director Abhilasha Abhinav has instructed principals to appoint one junior lecturer from each government junior college as a nodal officer to guide students, V6 Velugu noted.

Awards and cash incentives will be provided to the top-3 projects in these competitions, V6 Velugu reported.

This hackathon offers a significant opportunity for inter students in Telangana to develop modern technological skills and improve their future employment prospects.
