The Telangana People's Front has demanded the establishment of public schools across Telangana. The front called for these schools to be modeled on the institution established at Arutla.
Srujana Yadav, a core committee member of the Telangana People's Front, stated that the organization proposed three such schools in every mandal. For Hyderabad, they suggested ten public schools in each mandal.
The front has also called for legislation to regulate fees charged by private schools and private junior colleges. This demand seeks a legal framework to control fee structures.
The organization urged the state government to increase the education budget from its current allocation of less than 8% to 18%. They also demanded that this increased allocation be secured through legislation.
