The School Education Department in Telangana has issued new directives regarding the evaluation and mark entry process for Summative Assessment 1 (SA1) examinations in schools, Disha daily reported. These new guidelines are set to be implemented across the state.

For selected nine districts, the answer sheets of sixth-grade students will undergo external evaluation, while for all districts, ninth-grade students' answer sheets will be evaluated externally. Following this, marks must be entered online at the school level under the supervision of Headmasters.

The Director of School Education has issued clear instructions to the District Educational Officers (DEOs) across the state through a circular, as stated by Disha daily. This ensures that the guidelines reach all relevant authorities.

Immediately after the completion of answer sheet evaluation, MEOs are required to hand over the result lists, along with the evaluated papers, to the respective school Headmasters. This step aims to ensure transparency in the process.

Headmasters must receive these mark lists and promptly enter students' marks, attendance details, and co-curricular marks into the department's web portal without any errors. This ensures accuracy in data recording.

This new system is expected to bring greater transparency and accuracy to the evaluation and entry of SA1 examination results for students in Telangana. It will help in more effective monitoring of students' academic progress.
