The Telangana government is prioritizing skill development and industry-oriented training to boost employment opportunities for its youth in Japan. This focus was highlighted by Minister Vivek during a meeting with representatives from the Hiroshima prefectural government at the state secretariat.

Referring to discussions from his recent visit to Hiroshima, the minister emphasized the critical need for stronger collaboration between Telangana and the Japanese prefecture in skill development, workforce exchange programs, and employment generation.

Telangana is actively working to prepare its young population to meet the specific requirements of Japanese industries, including through dedicated Japanese language training initiatives, he stated.

Beyond technical expertise, candidates must also grasp Japan's unique work culture, discipline, precision, and unwavering commitment to quality to significantly improve their prospects of securing jobs there, Vivek added.

The discussions with the Hiroshima delegation explored various avenues to align skill development programs with current industry demands and to create more international employment opportunities for Telangana's youth, the minister noted.

He also extended an invitation to the Hiroshima delegation to participate in the 'Invest Telangana' program, scheduled to be held from December 7 to 9 during the Telangana Global Summit. This initiative is expected to further broaden international employment pathways for the state's youth.
