UTF State President Chava Ravi has called for gazetted headmasters to unite and fight for improved educational standards in high schools and to resolve the issues they face. He made these remarks at a headmasters' workshop held in Hyderabad.
The UTF demanded that unified service rules be formulated in line with the President's orders and that headmasters be granted promotions. This has been a long-standing demand from headmasters.
The UTF also requested the sanctioning of DEO posts for every district, Deputy DEO posts for every division, and MEO posts for every mandal. This move aims to enhance administrative efficiency within the education system.
Additionally, the UTF urged the appointment of a computer operator for every school and an increase in funds for the midday meal scheme. These measures are expected to improve school administration and student welfare.
UTF State Secretaries Ravikumar, Ranjitkumar, Venkatappa, and Sharada, along with representatives of headmasters, participated in the meeting. The UTF believes that resolving headmasters' issues will strengthen the education system across the state, benefiting students in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
