The Venkatapuram Premier League Season 3 cricket tournament is progressing with excitement at the Kafed ground in Venkatapuram mandal, Mulugu district. The Venkatapuram Cricket Association is organizing these matches during the Dasara festivities.
On the seventh day of the tournament, which promotes the slogan 'Save to No Drug', two matches were played on Saturday. The first match was between AK Warriors and Viking Warriors.
Viking Warriors won the toss and chose to field first. AK Warriors, batting first, scored 68 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their allotted 10 overs.
Viking Warriors successfully chased the target, scoring 72 runs in just 8.5 overs. Imran was awarded the Man of the Match for his excellent performance in this game.
The second match of the day was played between Hunters and Star Eleven. Star Eleven won the toss and elected to field.
