In a move to strengthen healthcare services in Andhra Pradesh, Director of Secondary Health Chakradhar Babu has issued postings for 322 doctors. These appointments are set to fill vacancies across various medical departments in the state.

According to Andhrajyothy, these postings were made through in-service PG counseling conducted under the purview of the Director of Secondary Health. The process took place in Amaravati on October 9.

Andhrajyothy reported that 380 candidates attended the counseling for vacant posts across 14 medical departments, indicating significant interest in these medical appointments.

Among the selected candidates, 305 were appointed to Civil Assistant Surgeon posts, and 17 were chosen for Deputy Civil Surgeon Specialist positions, as stated by Andhrajyothy. This will bolster medical staff at various levels.

Andhrajyothy also reported that another 40 individuals were sent to the Director of Health due to a lack of vacancies. This suggests potential for further appointments in the future.

These appointments will contribute to providing better healthcare services for the residents of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. By addressing the shortage of doctors and improving services in government hospitals, quality medical care will become more accessible to the public.
