The Andhra Pradesh government is preparing to make multi-specialty medical services available in four teaching hospitals across the state. As part of this initiative, Level-3 Intensive Care Units (ICUs) will be established for the first time to provide enhanced medical care to patients.

With the establishment of these new ICUs, patients will receive more effective treatment in emergency situations. This decision aims to strengthen medical services throughout the state.

In the initial phase, Level-3 ICUs will be set up in four selected hospitals. The selection process for these hospitals has already been completed.

The government has allocated Rs. 10 crores for the establishment of these ICUs. These funds will be used to procure necessary infrastructure and advanced medical equipment.

This measure will make emergency medical services more accessible to the people of Andhra Pradesh. By providing better treatment to those suffering from severe health issues, it will contribute to saving lives.
