Special committees have been constituted in government teaching hospitals across Andhra Pradesh to ensure patient safety. This move aligns with the guidelines provided by the Union Health Ministry.
These committees will oversee patient safety along with 11 other aspects of hospital operations. For each key area, a faculty member from the relevant medical department has been appointed to take charge.
The establishment of these committees aims to improve the quality of medical services and enhance safety standards within the hospitals. The primary objective is to elevate patient care across all government teaching facilities.
All government teaching hospitals in the state have been instructed to strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by the Union Health Ministry. These committees will foster greater transparency in hospital administration.
