The Telangana Friends Association (TFA) Abu Dhabi organized grand Bathukamma celebrations on Friday in the United Arab Emirates capital. Telangana expatriate women reflected the traditional village Bathukamma spirit during the festivities.

Women, who are usually busy with household chores and family responsibilities, gathered at one place to enjoy the celebrations in a traditional and spiritual manner, as if they were in their native villages. They created a festive atmosphere in the Arab nation with Bathukamma songs and dances.

Soumya Gupta, a senior diplomat from the Indian Embassy, attended the celebrations as the chief guest. Dr. Balaji Ramaswamy, another diplomat, participated as a guest of honor.

Andhrajyothi Gulf representative Irfan entertained the expatriates with Bathukamma songs and traditional folk dances, singing "Rama Ramane Uyyalo Bathukamma Uyyalo." A large number of expatriate Telangana women and their family members attended the event.

These celebrations showcased the collective beauty of life for Telangana expatriates. The event highlighted TFA's efforts in keeping their culture and traditions alive on foreign soil.
