Telangana BJP MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy has linked the India-Bangladesh border enclaves to the ongoing protests in Delhi regarding the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls.

Reddy contended that historical border anomalies facilitated illegal migration and led to irregular voter registrations. He emphasized that these past territorial issues contributed to the current concerns.

In a video explanation that is circulating widely, Reddy described the border situation before 2015 as one of the most unusual international boundaries globally.

He detailed that India contained 111 enclaves within Bangladesh, while Bangladesh had 51 enclaves inside India. The complexity extended further in some areas, where a Bangladeshi pocket was situated within an Indian enclave, which itself was inside Bangladesh, and vice versa.
