Bathukamma festivities, reflecting the rich culture and traditions of Telangana, were celebrated with grandeur in Boston, USA, under the organization of the Man American Telugu Association (MATA).
The event received comprehensive support from various Telugu organizations, including the Indian Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) and Indian Americans in Burlington (IAB).
The successful coordination of the celebrations was managed by individuals such as Thakkallapally Aravind, Singireddy Surender Reddy, Ramesh Gentiyala, and Shanthan Thallapally.
More than 1200 members of the Telugu community, along with their families, actively participated in these festivities, which recreated the lively atmosphere of a Telangana village.
Women, adorned in traditional attire, meticulously arranged Bathukamma with vibrant flowers. They performed special prayers and celebrated with traditional Bathukamma songs, Kolatam, and dances.
