BRS State General Secretary Dr. RS Praveen Kumar has demanded an inquiry into 2006 acres of land belonging to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's family members, ministers, and Congress leaders, bringing them under the purview of GO-134. He has written a letter to State Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju regarding this matter.
In his letter, Praveen Kumar requested an examination of the land details of Congress leaders located in Hyderabad and its surrounding districts. He emphasized the need for a comprehensive investigation into these lands, which are registered under the names of 25 individuals.
Praveen Kumar stated that it is unfair to investigate only the lands of BRS leaders and insisted that the lands of Congress leaders should also be brought under the scope of the inquiry. He warned that if the Devasena Committee does not respond in accordance with Article 14, they would approach the High Court.
Praveen Kumar signed the letter during a press conference held at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad on Tuesday. This demand has become a significant topic of discussion in state politics.
This demand for an inquiry has the potential to increase transparency in land affairs across Telangana. It could provide greater clarity to the public regarding the land transactions of political leaders in the state.
