BRS leaders, MLC Tata Madhusudan and former Sattupalli MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah, made strong allegations against the Congress government in Khammam Kamanbazar. They asserted that the current drought is not a natural occurrence but a direct consequence of the Congress government's actions.

The BRS leaders stated that it is shameful for the government to advise farmers against cultivating a second crop. They further criticized the government, calling it deplorable that agriculture has been pushed into crisis due to a lack of proper water management practices.

Speaking at a press conference held on Friday at the BRS district office (Telangana Bhavan) in Khammam, Tata Madhu recalled KCR's decade-long rule. He highlighted that during that period, 24-hour quality free electricity, tap water to every household, and the Mission Kakatiya initiative, which filled tanks, transformed agriculture into a celebration.

However, he criticized that under the current Congress rule, the old difficult days have returned, and farmers are facing severe hardships. He expressed distress that the agricultural sector has been pushed into a crisis.

The BRS leaders made it clear that the government's policies are responsible for the drought situation faced by Telangana farmers. They expressed concern that farmers are suffering significant losses due to inadequate water management.
