BRS leaders in Madhuranagar Colony, Shamshabad Rural, on Saturday prevented Town Planning Officer Santosh Singh and his staff from demolishing houses. Local leaders joined the BRS members in stopping the demolition drive.
BRS leader Konnamolla Srinivas warned that officials should not demolish structures under the pretext of GO 111. He strongly condemned the demolition attempts.
Srinivas stated that the previous BRS government did not demolish houses built by the poor. He emphasized that his party always stands with the underprivileged.
He criticized the current government, alleging that it is only focused on demolishing structures and not undertaking any development work. Srinivas demanded that the government focus on initiatives that benefit the public.
