The BRS Legal Cell has issued notices to Telangana PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, and MP Gaddam Vamshikrishna. The cell alleged that these leaders are engaging in false propaganda that damages the reputation of BRS chief KCR.
The BRS Legal Cell stated that the three Congress leaders posted content on their social media accounts claiming that water from Kondapochamma Sagar was diverted to KCR's farmhouse.
Soma Bharat Kumar, BRS General Secretary and Legal Cell In-charge, dispatched these notices. He also mentioned that a daily newspaper's management and editor had previously received notices on the same matter.
The BRS Legal Cell demanded that the Congress leaders immediately remove the relevant posts from their social media accounts and retract the false propaganda without any conditions.
The BRS Legal Cell clarified that it would not tolerate attempts to mislead the public through baseless allegations concerning Telangana's irrigation projects.
The BRS Legal Cell warned that if there is no response to the notices, further legal action, including defamation suits, would be pursued under applicable laws.
