The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has approved the report submitted by the Dedicated Commission on BC reservations in local body elections, HMTV reported. This decision is expected to create more opportunities for Backward Classes in the upcoming local elections, according to HMTV. The report further stated that approximately 38,000 individuals from BC communities could secure positions as a result of this approval.
