The implementation of the new health scheme for Telangana state government employees and pensioners has been accelerated. Under this scheme, cashless medical services are now available in 919 hospitals.

The Employee Health Care Trust (EHCT), which manages the new employee health scheme, revealed these details in a report submitted to the government. According to an Eenadu report, services under this scheme are expanding.

The EHCT report stated that 7.56 lakh health cards have been downloaded through NEHS. This indicates the interest shown by employees in the scheme.

Under this scheme, employees and pensioners can avail medical services in selected hospitals without making any cash payments. This reduces their financial burden.

This expansion provides improved healthcare for government employees and pensioners in Telangana. It also benefits their families.
