Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has responded to the High Court's verdict on BC reservations, expressing his distress that the ruling is against the Backward Classes.

According to Andhrajyothy, Chandrababu Naidu recalled that NTR first brought political recognition to BCs. He stated that he provided 34 percent reservations for BCs in local bodies in 1995.

However, the Godali Party reduced these reservations to 24 percent, Andhrajyothy reported. Chandrababu Naidu stated that this led to legal challenges in courts, hindering the 34 percent reservations.

Andhrajyothy indicates that Naidu blamed the Godali Party for creating this situation in the High Court. He mentioned that this development would go to the Supreme Court.

As reported by Andhrajyothy, Chandrababu Naidu reiterated that he has stood by BCs ever since. He made it clear that he would fight for the rights of BCs.

This verdict significantly impacts the BC communities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, as it affects their political representation.
