The results for the 2021 local body elections in Chittoor district were declared peacefully on Tuesday. The much-anticipated election results concluded without any disruptions.
During these elections, there were various attempts to secure unanimous victories, including intimidation, unanimous case filings, forged signatures, and kidnappings.
Police established tight security within a hundred meters of the Chittoor Corporation office. Elections were held for 168 wards across the district.
Among those who filed nominations, 607 were from the TDP. These election results have set the stage for new changes in district politics.
