Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Monday laid the foundation for development works worth a total of Rs 3,222 crore under the Tirupati Urban Development Authority (TUDA). These projects aim to provide better facilities for devotees of Lord Venkateswara, fulfill the dream of homeownership for TTD employees, and improve infrastructure in the city.
The Chief Minister inaugurated these projects virtually from his office in Amaravati. The works include the construction of large accommodation and annaprasadam complexes for devotees of Lord Venkateswara.
A residential layout will be developed across 418 acres for TTD employees. This initiative is expected to help fulfill the dream of homeownership for many employees.
To alleviate traffic congestion in the city, nine master plan roads will be constructed. This will significantly reduce traffic and make commuting easier in Tirupati.
A crucial component of these projects is the Integrated Pilgrim Township. This aims to reduce congestion on Tirumala Hill by providing all necessary facilities for devotees at the base of the hill in one location.
These development works are expected to enhance the living standards for devotees visiting the sacred city of Tirupati and local residents, contributing significantly to the city's overall development.
