Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu responded to former Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy's criticisms regarding the local body election process. Naidu stated that elections are being conducted transparently under the coalition government.

Naidu accused the YSRCP of making local elections one-sided through attacks and anarchy when they were in power. He expressed surprise that the YSRCP is now speaking about transparency.

The Chief Minister advised Jagan to note that YSRCP candidates filed nominations in Pithapuram and other key areas. This, he said, shows the current election system.

Naidu questioned whether TDP leaders were allowed to file nominations anywhere during the YSRCP's tenure. He highlighted the difference in the current election environment compared to the past.
