Chief Minister Revanth Reddy strongly criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging that he previously used ED, CBI, and IT to maintain power, but now, finding them ineffective, is misusing the Election Commission. Reddy made these remarks during a press conference held at Telangana Bhavan in Delhi.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made sensational allegations, claiming that Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar has been tasked with removing the votes of BJP opponents. These allegations have sparked intense debate in political circles.
Reddy further criticized that the BJP is now using the SIR (Systematic Inclusion of Registered Voters) process, first introduced in 1950 to grant voting rights, to remove people's votes. He stated that this goes against the spirit of democracy.
The Chief Minister expressed his anger, stating that Gyanesh Kumar is attempting to target and remove the votes of youth, unemployed individuals, and the poor who strongly oppose the BJP. He voiced concerns that these actions would weaken the democratic process.
These allegations are creating political tremors in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, leading to public discussion about the transparency of the electoral process.
