Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu conducted a review meeting on the selection of mayoral and municipal chairperson candidates in Amaravati on October 17. Several key decisions were made during this meeting.
The candidates for mayor in Guntur, Ongole, Machilipatnam, and Mangalagiri corporations will be announced. Additionally, chairpersons for 49 municipalities and nagar panchayats will also be declared.
The selection process for mayoral and municipal chairperson candidates within the Telugu Desam Party has been ongoing with much anticipation. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has personally overseen this selection.
With tomorrow being the final day for nominations, the process of finalizing the candidate list has been expedited. The entire selection process is expected to conclude by tomorrow.
