Karimnagar Collector Chitra Mishra has directed officials to promptly process all pending applications related to the special comprehensive revision of the voter list (SSR) in the district. She participated in a video conference held on October 17 by State Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudarshan Reddy from Hyderabad.
During the conference, the Collector instructed Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to visit voters' homes and deliver notices. She also directed them to accept necessary verification documents.
State Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudarshan Reddy reviewed various aspects, including SSR applications and graduate MLC voter registration, through the video conference.
The meeting was attended by District Revenue Officer Shajahan, along with election returning officers and assistant returning officers from Karimnagar, Huzurabad, Manakondur, and Choppadandi constituencies.
The Collector emphasized the importance of completing the voter list revision process transparently and swiftly. She stated that every eligible citizen should be granted the right to vote.
Collector Chitra Mishra specifically instructed officials to focus on resolving pending applications and ensure there are no delays in the process.
