District Collector Kumar Deepak conducted a surprise inspection of the 30-bed government hospital in Luxettipet mandal headquarters, Mancherial district, on Saturday. He reviewed the medical services being provided to patients at the facility.
The Collector inquired about the number of patients and details of various diseases. He specifically focused on the availability of medicines, drinking water supply, and sanitation management within the hospital premises.
Collector Deepak reviewed the treatment details of patients presenting with symptoms such as cough, cold, fever, and dengue. He instructed officials to ensure a sufficient supply of essential medicines and to provide improved medical services to all patients.
He visited the hospital's laboratory to observe the conduct of tests. He advised that patient details and disease information be systematically recorded, and registers be maintained properly.
The Collector personally spoke with patients undergoing treatment at the hospital. He inquired about the medical care they were receiving and the quality of food provided to them.
