The Congress has alleged that a BJP-linked network is utilizing computer-generated Form 7 applications to target Muslim voters for deletion from electoral rolls in Telangana. These allegations were made during a protest held at Charminar in Hyderabad.

Syed Khalid Saifullah, president of the Hyderabad District Congress Committee, made these accusations. He spoke at the protest event on Saturday at Charminar.

Telangana Government Advisor and senior Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao led a protest march from Madina Market to Charminar. More than 200 Congress workers participated in the demonstration.

During the protest, Congress workers raised slogans against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. They demanded an investigation into the alleged irregularities in the voter roll revision process.

Congress leaders claimed that efforts are underway to specifically remove Muslim voters from the electoral lists. They urged the Election Commission to take immediate action on this matter.

The Congress has called for a comprehensive investigation into these allegations and for accountability for those responsible. The party also requested measures to prevent such incidents from recurring.
