Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday launched a strong attack on the Congress party. He accused the Congress of disrespecting the public mandate following electoral defeats.

Chouhan also alleged that the party was undermining democratic institutions, as reported by Hyderabad Mail.

The Union Minister stated that the Congress had adopted a different stance on the Election Commission depending on whether it won or lost elections. He claimed the party accepted the poll panel when victorious but questioned it after defeats.

Chouhan further alleged that at Rahul Gandhi’s behest, Mallikarjun Kharge had labeled the Prime Minister and the Home Minister as illegitimate. He called these remarks an insult to the democratic mandate and constitutional institutions.

According to Hyderabad Mail, Chouhan described these remarks as an insult to the democratic mandate and constitutional institutions.

As political discussions unfold in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, these allegations further intensify the political climate. Respect for democratic institutions and acceptance of election results are crucial issues for the people in these regions.
