The Congress party has alleged that a network is using Form 7 applications to remove Muslim voters from the electoral rolls in Telangana. Hyderabad District Congress Committee president Syed Khalid Saifullah made these claims.
Saifullah spoke about the allegations during a protest held at Charminar on Saturday. Telangana Government Advisor and senior Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao led the protest march from Madina Market to Charminar.
Over 200 Congress workers participated in the demonstration. They chanted slogans against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
Congress leaders demanded an investigation into the alleged irregularities in the voter roll revision process. They urged for immediate action regarding their claims.
