The Congress party has initiated an online membership drive for women. Leaders like Dachepalli Sarika, a woman Congress party leader, Sarika Timmajipeta, and Ekalavya are promoting this online membership registration.
An online Congress party membership registration program was conducted on Sunday under the leadership of women Congress party leader Dachepalli Sarika at the Mandal center.
She stated that efforts are being made to enroll a large number of women into the party, aiming to increase their representation within the party.
She mentioned that schemes like the Mahalakshmi scheme, which offers free bus travel, gas cylinders for 500 rupees, and the Gruhajyothi scheme, will be very beneficial for women.
These initiatives will help women in Telangana play a more active role in public governance, thereby paving the way for their empowerment.
