Congress leader and former MLA Danam Nagender has demanded that the Election Commission (EC) change its stance on voter deletions. Otherwise, Hyderabad and the Election Commission office could be set ablaze, he controversially stated, as reported by Namasthe Telangana.

Speaking to the media in Himayatnagar on October 1, Danam Nagender made these remarks, according to Namasthe Telangana. He emphasized that the EC must alter its approach to voter deletions.

Addressing the media in King Koti on Thursday, he mentioned that notices were issued to 20,000 voters in the Khairatabad constituency, and these need to be rectified.

Danam Nagender alleged that AMCs (Assistant Multipurpose Coordinators) and AROs (Assistant Returning Officers) are colluding with the BJP to delete a large number of votes.

These comments further intensify the political atmosphere in Telangana ahead of the upcoming elections. They are escalating tensions among political parties regarding the voter deletion process.
