BRS MLC Dasoju Sravan has called upon graduate voters to revolt against what he termed “Congress-mark governance” and teach the ruling party a lesson in the upcoming Hyderabad, Mahabubnagar, and Ranga Reddy Graduates MLC elections. According to The Hans India, Sravan made these remarks at a meeting on Sunday.
Addressing a special graduates’ meeting organized by former corporator Mahesh Yadav and BRSV leader Madhukar Yadav, Sravan offered guidance on voter registration and electoral strategy.
He recalled that freedom fighters Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Bhagat Singh began their struggles during their youth. Former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), too, entered constitutional politics early and led the movement for Telangana statehood, as reported by The Hans India.
Expressing concern over political apathy among educated youth, Sravan stated that only 8,000 graduate votes were registered in Khairatabad constituency during previous elections, resulting in poor turnout.
Given the stated dissatisfaction with Congress rule in the state, it is crucial for graduate voters to actively participate in the political process by exercising their franchise. This will impact the political future of Telangana.
