Punetha mentioned that leaders of some political parties had met him, and their complaints would also be considered. He assured that all necessary steps would be taken to ensure a smooth election process.
Discussions were held with police officials regarding election security. Instructions were given to make robust arrangements to prevent any disruption to law and order.
Special attention was given to the violent incidents that took place during the nomination process. Officials were directed to ensure that such incidents do not recur in the future.
Anil Chandra Punetha warned that strict action would be taken against those who violate Election Commission rules. He reiterated that the election process would be transparent and impartial.
