Former MLA Patnam Narender Reddy criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy's promise to provide irrigation water through the Kodangal-Narayanpet Lift Irrigation Scheme, calling it a deception. Reddy made these remarks on Friday at an awareness program in Bomraspet mandal, Kodangal constituency, Vikarabad district.
The event focused on graduate voter registration in view of the upcoming MLC elections. During his address, Narender Reddy accused CM Revanth Reddy of using development projects as an election tactic.
Reddy stated that the Kodangal-Narayanpet Lift Irrigation Scheme would not be useful for farmers. He questioned whether Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was responsible for designing the project.
The former MLA asserted that the Chief Minister's statements about providing irrigation water are part of his election campaign. He expressed doubts about the scheme's actual benefits to the farming community.
