Former MLA Divakar Rao demanded that the Congress party fulfill its pre-election promises regarding contract employees. Speaking in Naspur, he specifically called for the regularization of contract workers in the health department.
Contract and outsourcing employees of NHM have been conducting a week-long protest camp in front of the Collectorate in Naspur. Divakar Rao visited the camp on Saturday to express his support for the employees.
Divakar Rao reminded the government that the Congress party had promised to regularize contract employees during the election campaign. He alleged that these promises were abandoned after the party came to power.
Divakar Rao affirmed his unwavering support for the contract employees. He stated that he would continue to fight until justice is served to them.
