As local body elections approach in Andhra Pradesh, political shifts are occurring among major parties. Former Telugu Desam Party (TDP) senior leader and MLC Dwarapureddy Jagadeesh has joined the Jana Sena Party.
The formal induction ceremony took place in Parvathipuram, where Arakku Parliament Observer and MLC Nagababu welcomed Dwarapureddy Jagadeesh into the party by presenting him with a party scarf.
Jagadeesh was joined by several of his followers and other leaders from the TDP who also switched their allegiance to the Jana Sena Party. These defections are expected to influence the dynamics of the upcoming local elections.
During the same event, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader S. Umamaheswara Rao also joined the Jana Sena Party. These developments highlight ongoing realignments in state politics.
