The Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Research Institute organized a free health camp at Kamma Vari Kalyana Mandapam in Wyra on October 17, 2026. The Kakatiya Community Foundation Hyderabad and Kamma Jana Seva Samithi collaborated for this event.
Kakatiya Community Foundation Chairman Satyanarayana and Kamma Jana Seva Samithi President Katta Krishnarjunarao inaugurated the camp. Organizers stated that such camps are being set up to provide improved medical services to people in both rural and urban areas.
This free cancer screening camp was established with the goal of identifying cancer in its early stages and providing timely treatment to those affected. The main objective is to increase awareness about cancer and make diagnostic tests accessible to the public.
Hundreds of local residents attended this free medical camp and underwent examinations. Doctors advised that neglecting cancer symptoms and identifying the disease in its initial stages allows for more effective treatment.
