The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has identified popular brands Priya Gold biscuits and Dodla milk as adulterated. FSSAI officials have filed cases against three companies involved in the production of these items.

FSSAI officials conducted an inspection at Surya and Agro, the company manufacturing Priya Gold biscuits. During the inspection, it was found that cattle feed husk was being used for fiber in the biscuits.

Additionally, samples of Dodla Dairy's full cream milk were found to have a lower fat content than specified. FSSAI officials confirmed both products were highly adulterated.

The FSSAI is taking strict action regarding this adulteration. The authority will continue its surveillance on such products to ensure food safety for consumers.
