The service roads alongside the Shilpa Layout Flyover in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, are expected to open to the public shortly. These new routes are intended to simplify daily commutes for drivers in the IT corridor.
The new infrastructure aims to alleviate traffic congestion and enhance movement around the Gachibowli area. For several months, traffic flow in the vicinity was impacted by delays in land acquisition and the relocation of stormwater utilities.
Once operational, the service roads will provide improved connections for motorists traveling between Gachibowli, Kondapur, and the Financial District. Local traffic will have the option to use these service lanes, reducing their reliance on the main flyover routes.
This improved access is also anticipated to benefit IT professionals and residents commuting towards the Outer Ring Road (ORR). The new roads will contribute to more efficient and convenient daily travel for many.
