The 13th Grand Bathukamma celebrations were held with splendor in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on October 18, 2026, organized by the Malaysia Telangana Association (MYTA). Rajesh H, First Secretary of the Indian High Commission, attended the event as the chief guest.
The celebrations showcased Telangana's culture and traditions, featuring Bathukamma songs and folk arts. Women, dressed in traditional attire, arranged colorful flowers into Bathukamma and danced around them to traditional songs.
A special highlight of the event was the display of Telangana's rural culture, folk arts, and traditions. Renowned folk dancer Januluri, prominent folk lyricist and singer Dileep Devgan, and cinematographer Arun Koluguri participated in the festivities.
Presidents and representatives from various Indian associations in Malaysia also attended the program. They enjoyed and participated in the Telangana cultural festivities.
