Guntur City Commissioner K. Mayur Ashok has directed officials to expedite the Shankar Vilas Railway Over Bridge (ROB) works in Guntur. He urged them to ensure that there are no further delays in the project.
Commissioner Mayur Ashok, along with Joint Collector Ashutosh Srivatsava, specifically instructed for the acceleration of the land acquisition process. They emphasized the need to focus on quickly acquiring the necessary land for the project.
A joint review meeting on this matter was held on Wednesday in the Commissioner's chamber at the Municipal Corporation's main office. Revenue, R&B, and GMC officials participated in this meeting.
The Commissioner stated that R&B officials, the contractor, and GMC officials should work in coordination to carry out the works quickly. He added that by all departments working together, the project would be completed on time.
This project is crucial for Guntur city as it will alleviate traffic congestion and provide better transportation facilities for the public. Expediting the works will bring quicker relief to the city residents.
