Former Minister and BRS senior leader T. Harish Rao has sharply criticized the Congress government in Telangana, alleging that it has misled unemployed youth regarding the recruitment of police personnel.
Harish Rao stated on 'X' that while there are approximately 25,000 police job vacancies across the state, the government has only issued a notification for 7,000 posts. He termed this a betrayal of the aspirations of job seekers.
He further reminded that prior to the elections, the Congress party had promised to fill 2 lakh jobs and create a festival of employment opportunities for the unemployed, thereby securing votes.
Harish Rao commented that after assuming power, the Congress government transformed its promised job calendar into a 'jobless calendar'. He suggested this indicates the government's disregard for the unemployed.
