Rehan Raza, a former student of Devnar School for the Blind in Hyderabad, has developed an innovative device to assist visually impaired individuals. This smart medicine box has garnered national recognition.

Raza observed the difficulties faced by visually impaired people in identifying their medications. He noted that distinguishing between medicines can be challenging when tablets appear or feel similar.

The device audibly communicates the name of the medicine, its dosage, and the appropriate timing for consumption. This feature enables visually impaired users to manage their medication regimen independently.

Raza gained insight into these challenges through conversations with his friends at school. He learned that some relied on family members to identify and provide them with the correct tablets.
