A new report has been released that details the philanthropy and community service of Indian Americans. The report highlights their increasing commitment to giving back, extending beyond their professional success and economic prosperity.

The Bridgespan Group, in collaboration with the Ford Foundation, prepared this report. It sheds light on the motivations, experiences, and aspirations that shape Indian American philanthropy.

To compile the report, researchers interviewed more than 60 donors, nonprofit leaders, and experts. The findings examine the values, family experiences, and professional journeys that inspire these donors.

The report illustrates how Indian Americans are motivated to create a positive impact in both the United States and India. It clearly articulates their philanthropic spirit.

This publication is presented as a three-part series. The first part specifically discusses the growth of Indian American giving and the inspirations behind it.

This report aims to provide a deeper understanding of Indian American philanthropic efforts and serves as an important indicator of their contributions to the community.
