The JAC alliance, which won the recent union polls, was finally handed its recognition certificate. The alliance had been waiting for the certificate since the results were announced on October 17.
The winning JAC alliance includes the Employees Union, Telangana Mazdoor Union (TMU), and National Mazdoor Union (NMU).
JAC leader M Thomas Reddy alleged that officials created hurdles throughout the election process. He also questioned the delay in issuing the certificate.
The alliance had previously sought Labour Minister Vivek Venkataswamy’s intervention to speed up the process.
Following a protest by the alliance, the recognition certificate was handed over to the winning group. This concludes the election process for the union.
