Jadcherla MLA Anirudh Reddy warned that any injustice to the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme would not be tolerated. He addressed the media on Saturday at his camp office in Jadcherla, Mahabubnagar district.
Reddy stated that he would fight if even a drop of water less than 16 TMC reached Uddandapur. He emphasized that he would not stand by if water was exploited.
The MLA made it clear that they would not agree to divert water from the Yedula Reservoir, built as part of the PRLI scheme, to the Dindi Project.
Anirudh Reddy acknowledged Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy as his political guru, stating he would even sacrifice his head for him. However, he asserted that he would not bow down if it meant harming his constituents.
